wsTimer v1.1 - as promised, user definable parameters

wsTimer v1.0.1 is an application for a very select group of individuals - quadriplegics who can not shift their own weight with their arms.

My nephew recently was the victim of a tragic accident and was left a C6 quadriplegic. During his stay at the rehab hospital and in his electric wheel chair, he needs to do a weight shift (tilt the chair back to almost horizontal position) to prevent skin breakdown. This is needed to be done every 30 minutes, for 5 minutes, then start a new 30 minute cycle. He and all of his new friends at the hospital in the same situation continually forget to do the weight shift. I developed this app to give an audible reminder to execute the weight shift and when to stop it.

This first version works in 2 different ways.

Background - Recommended mode of Operation. The App sets local notifications (alarms) for your weight shifts, with sounds and messages, or just sounds. For this to work properly, once started you should just tap your Home button. It will currently schedule out 16 cycles. This will only be available for iPhones using iOS 4 or greater.

Foreground - In which you will have to set your auto-lock parameter under General Settings to Never. For it to work properly, it has to be the current app executing. In this mode, it will show countdowns and give audible alarms. This is available for iPhones with iOS less that 4.

FREE - But donations are appreciated for the Jordan C Allen Special Needs TR - benefits by nephew. http://RideforJCAandSCI.org
